[그때그인물] (5) 길없는 길 걷는 도전의 아이콘, 미래형 인간 조영관

꿈, 희망, 나눔과 도전정신을 확산하는 도전선구자(Challenge Maker)로 11년째 활동하고 있다. 조영관 박사의 가치관은 ‘한사람의 열걸음’보다 ‘열사람의 한걸음’을 더욱 소중하게 생각하고 더 좋은 세상을 향해 함께 만들어가고 있다.

끊임없이 새로운 도전에 뛰어들어 도전의 날(7월8일) 기념일 제정, 민간기념일 인증, 세계기록 인증, 큰바위얼굴상,도전명예의전당 등 국내 제1호로 역사에 남을 수 있는 다수의 기록을 만들어왔다.

앞으로 다가올 대한민국의 미래를 준비하고 1000년 후까지도 사랑하겠다는 희망프로젝트 ‘千年後愛’ 운동을 전개하고, 고마워요, 미안해요, 잘했어요를 의미하는 ‘고미잘’ 캠페인을 주도하고 있다.

조영관 박사는 금융경제 전문가이며 작가로도 많이 알려져 있다. 그가 집필한 '초보자가 꼭 알아야 할 경제지식 105', '생존을 위한 금융경제의 비밀 26' 책이 중.고등학교 교과서에 실렸다. 금융 경제관련 최장 칼럼 기고(월간 신용경제 13년간 연재)기록을 보유하였다.

현재 경복대에서 겸임교수와 사단법인 도전한국인본부를 이끌고 있으며, 국제한인경제연합회 부회장으로 경제인들의 네크워크를 확충하고 있다. “우리고장 도전한국인”을 전국 자치단체별로 희망과 도전의 얼굴을 발굴 준비중이다.

He has been active as a Challenge Maker for 11 years to spread dreams, hopes, sharing, and challenging spirit. Dr. Cho Young-kwan's values value "one step with ten people" more than "ten steps by one person" and are making it together toward a better world.

He has constantly jumped into new challenges and made a number of records that can go down in history as the No. 1 in Korea, including the establishment of Challenge Day (July 8), civilian anniversary certification, world record certification, big rock face award, and Challenge Hall of Fame.

It is leading the "Gomizal" campaign, which means "thank you, sorry, and good job," which is a hope project to prepare for the future of Korea and love it even 1,000 years later.

Dr. Cho Young-kwan is a financial and economic expert and is well known as a writer. His books "Economic Knowledge 105," which beginners must know, and "Secret 26 of the Financial Economy for Survival" were published in middle and high school textbooks. It has a record of the longest column contribution related to the financial economy (a serial of the monthly credit economy for 13 years).

Currently, he is leading an adjunct professor at Gyeongbok University and the Challenge Korean Headquarters, a corporation, and is expanding the network of businessmen as vice president of the International Korean Economic Federation.

He is preparing discovering the face of hope and challenge for challenge Koreans by local governments nationwide.
